    As a Structural Airframe Assembler you will spend your days:
    * On your feet, assembling and installing fabricated units, parts and sub-assemblies to aircraft frames
    * Working with a variety of power and hand tools, jigs, fixtures and other equipment
    * Fitting and installing fasteners, bushings and burrs, countersinking, deburring, drilling and riveting
    * Reading and interpreting aircraft assembly diagrams
    * Meeting schedule and production requirements

    Manpower is recruiting for a Flow Path Manager to support the Ultrasonic department. This is a permanent position in Baltimore, MD. The selected candidate will be reporting to the QA Manager.

    This individual in this role is accountable for:
    * Supervising ultrasonic level I and level II inspectors
    * Planning production sequencing of ultrasonic tanks with respect to personnel shifts and orders to align with plant's planning
    o Ultrasonic inspection production goals need to be aligned with plant goals. In case of delays, reaction plans will need to be developed and presented to plant manager.
    * Preparing ultrasonic inspection areas for audits by accreditation bodies required by our customers (Nadcap, AS9100C etc).
    * Reviewing all outsourced ultrasonic documentation
    * Controlling outside ultrasonic vendors
    * Applying process management tools to ultrasonic inspection with the aim of reducing downtime and improving productivity
    * Working with quality manager on process management projects for reduction of scrap/PPM throughout the plant
    * Assisting quality manager with supervision of mechanical testing laboratory
    * Performing in-process audits as needed (ultrasonic, thermal processing, laboratory)
    * Initiating, reviewing and updating quality manuals and procedures for the ultrasonic inspection area
    * Assisting in upkeep of quality systems throughout the plant
    * Training ultrasonic (level I and II) candidates
    * Performing ultrasonic testing of aluminum when needed
    * Depending on experience and certifications of candidate, additional tasks may also include working on projects in the areas of ultrasonic inspection within the business unit.
    * Bachelor's degree in the areas of manufacturing engineering, materials science or metallurgy preferred, or high school diploma with at least 5 years experience in non-destructive testing.
    * Ultrasonic level II or higher
    * Environmental, health, and safety focus
    * Ability to establish sound priorities and objectives and be able to function in a high pressure work environment characterized by constant change
    * Must be self motivated, able to motivate others, able to set direction and expectations and follow-up to ensure success
    * Previous supervisory/management experience in a unionized environment
    * Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office package and proficiency in Oracle desired
