    In this role as a Floorhand, you will be:
    * Operating and performing maintenance on hand tools including hammers and pipe wrenches as well as maintenance to the service rig equipment
    * Working on the floor while the Operator runs tubing or rods in or out of the wellbore
    * Taking care of housekeeping duties including ensuring that the rig floor, oil company location and rig and equipment is clean and organized
    * Providing the physical strength to lift, carry, move, slide, transfer, push, pull or drag pieces of equipment on and around the service rig and equipment
    * Locating and delivering any piece of equipment as required
    * Driving trucks to transport materials and well service equipment
    * Following instructions and assist as needed

    Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
    * One or more years of experience
    * Minimum Class 5 Driver's License and in some cases a valid Class 1 or 3 is required
    * Current Drivers Abstract with 6 demerits or less
    * All relevant safety tickets and certifications as per industry regulations (H2S Alive and Standard First Aid/CPR)
    * Slant and/or mobile free-standing, single and/or double service rig experience is preferred

    Job Description

    Painting and/or Construction Demolition experience required

    Skilled Laborers and Carpentry experience requiredRequires professionals to work a 6 day work week: Qty. 5 - 10 hour days (Mon-Fri 6AM-4:30PM) and occasional weekend work - Saturdays for 8 hours (6am-2:30pm). Depends on workload.

    General laborer to support work at an active construction site within a manufacturing facility.
    Skilled/Construction laborer with hands-on background experience needed. Duties can include the following:
    Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards (scissor lifts, mainly heights)
    Load or unload building materials to be used in construction Build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
    Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction
    Operate general construction equipment (Excavators, Bobcats, Forklifts, Scissor lifts valid driver license, forklift certification to take place on site during New Start Orientation)
    Assist skilled laborers/supervisors with their duties by completing preliminary construction work.
    Follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
    This person must have some carpentry skills and a good work ethic.

    Physical Demands:
    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position lifts heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.

    Equipment Used:
    Experience with hand (hammers, saws) and power tools (jackhammers, screwdrivers), paint brushes, roller and specialty equipment such as paint sprayers; some motorized equipment, including forklift and scissor lift.
