    Staffing Specialist

    Job Duties:
    Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
    Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of needs.
    Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
    Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
    Assist in interviewing and selecting employee's on-site.
    Assist in preparing and sending offer packages.
    Write targeted/creative ads and manage applicant flow.
    Mine/analyze resumes, effectively pre-screen candidates, conduct in-depth interviews, and coordinate interviews with clients.
    Proactively plan and execute revenue producing client calls to generate new business with current client base and prospects.
    Manage client and candidate relationships through effective use of best practices.
    Handle a variety of clerical duties, scanning, filing and faxing etc.
    Other duties as assigned
    Requirements :
    2+ years of recruiting experience preferred.
    High School Diploma/GED Required. Higher education degree in a business, human resource, marketing, etc. is highly preferred
    Exceptional Communication & Customer Service Skills
    Organized and self-motivated
    Demonstrated ability to learn and retain large amounts of detailed information
    Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    Excellent organizational and time management skills
    Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google Applications
    Candidates must be able to successfully pass a Federal/State background check and a pre-employment drug test

    Responsible for candidate processing activities, including greeting and prescreening of potential candidates to determine Manpower employment eligibility. If the candidate is not eligible for Manpower employment, this role will provide other appropriate resources.

    This role will also move eligible candidates forward in the process to ensure client readiness which includes interviewing and coordinating interviews, directing candidates to complete necessary assessments, completing compliance requirements and other onboarding activities as assigned. This role will also manage phone traffic. This is a high volume position with a large amount of transactional work.

    Operates relatively independently and provides logistic support to local team. This role will manage the candidate experience by daily interaction with walk-in's and phone calls to ensure high candidate pool levels.

    An individual contributor role that has influence over the candidate experience and client experience through daily interaction with candidates and clients in the branch office. This interaction has a direct impact on Manpower's brand in the local community and the pool of potential candidates.
    Required Skills: * Administer client-specific screening assessments and conduct onboarding activities as requested to prepare candidates for work at a specific client site.

    Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking an internal Business Development Specialist to join our team. This is a part-time position working approximately 20-30 hours per week. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of marketing, sales and recruiting tasks to support business development involving both candidates and customers. This includes:

    * Building new relationships and developing existing relationships with both candidates seeking employment and companies within our territory;
