    Reporting to the Manager, Transit Sales - North America the Sales & Service Rep will be responsible to meet or exceed customer needs while fulfilling the sales goals of division within a multi - regional area.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
    Evaluate customer needs; recommend products and services and coordinate resolution of issues with the technical engineering staff of customers.
    Applicant will responsible for maintaining and servicing several OEMs in the region including training and account management.
    Support daily activities at assigned OEMs to ensure product installation quality expectations are met
    Responsible to promote, sell, and secure new business while maintaining and managing existing accounts.
    Provide training for OEMs and End Users at assigned accounts
    Perform field sales and service to bus customers and some commercial customers in area served.
    Develop new business opportunities with customers served while ensuring specifications are written in current and future orders for bid.
    Provide accurate sales forecast and market data to Regional Manager.
    Fulfill market potential of customers through product line acceptance.
    Work with end users in the development of final specifications.
    Demonstrate products and services and assist others in selection of those best suited to their needs.
    Coordinate delivery dates and service obligations.
    Responsible to OEM and others to develop existing and new applications.
    Demonstrates products and services; assist others in selection of products and services best suited to their needs.
    Responsible for the timely submission and accuracy of key performance reports detailing activities, sales volume, build schedules, expenses etc.
    Responsible within group to make the Service Department a profit center.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    * Minimum 3-5 years related industry experience in a similar capacity - Progressive track record in technical sales
    * Bachelor of Science (B. S.) Engineering, Bachelor of Administration (B.A.) degree, or equivalent experience in a sales/service role in fleet transportation equipment or similar area.
    * Demonstrated competency in managing contracts and OEM customers.
    * Ability to negotiate WIN/WIN agreements.
    * Ability to resolve technical issues/applications through the use of blueprints and/or wiring diagrams.
    * Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate unique selling points to a broad audience including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Safety professional because of the custom engineered product offerings.

    JOB FUNCTIONS
    Below the Wing ' Aircraft handling and servicing
    * Perform all facets of aircraft handling (e.g., marshalling, push-back, wing-walking)
    * Maintain work areas and ensure the proper care of equipment
    * Operate ramp equipment and other equipment such as tugs/tractors, beltloaders and forklifts
    * Perform facility cleaning and janitorial services
    * Work outdoors with exposure to the elements and high noise levels for eight hours or more per workday

    QUALIFICATIONS
    * Demonstrating safe work habits at all times
    * Working a constant and quick pace for up to two consecutive hours
    * Able to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays
    * Reliable attendance and punctuality
    * Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
    * Performing work according to set procedures

    * Understanding and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
    * Obtaining and maintaining airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting required by specific work assignment

    * Knowledge of operation of industrial equipment and previous experience preferred as required by location
