    Our client, a department of defense electronics manufacturer in northern Lancaster County PA, has a direct hire opening for a Price Analyst with Federal and Defense experience. This position is responsible for the cost collection and generation of final pricing proposals for specific Program Proposals, including Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) and Not to Exceeds (NTEs). It coordinates and collaborates with various functional disciplines and communicates with all levels of management. It oversees specific external audit and fact finding activities and assists Program Managers with specific Change Cost Collection processes.

    Main Responsibilities:
    *Develops, analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, supports and oversees specific cost proposals and schedules within critical deadlines.
    *Generates detailed pricing using the cost estimates, pricing model, proposal structure, and pricing based on coordinating timely inputs and strategic guidance from the bid team.
    *Develops and prepares cost volumes for proposals in accordance with (RFP) requirements
    *Serves as primary interface with DCAA/DCMA during specific audits; supports customer evaluation/fact-finding; and participates in price negotiations.
    *Ensures Estimating System compliance and provides interpretation of RFP costing
    *Interacts & coordinates with personnel and management at all levels including with CFO and bid team to streamline and standardize repeatable bid cost estimating
    *Performs other tasks and duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives.

    Qualifications Needed:
    * Bachelor's degree, or two plus years Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance college credits & must be able to pursue bachelor degree.
    * 2-8 Years of combined experience in Pricing/Accounting/Finance/Contracts/Business with at least 3 years of direct Pricing experience with minimum of 2 years' experience with Subcontract/ Procurement requirements, *FAR / DFAR proposal adequacy and execution requirements, Prime proposal SOW/RFP requirements.
    * Able to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    * Understands cost, cost drivers, and cost estimating processes and techniques, including lot sizing, fixed/variable costs, nonrecurring costs, and development and application of Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs).
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    * Team player, independent, proactive, and possess excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
    * Demonstrated advanced MS Excel and Word skills.
    * Ability to work extended hours of evening and weekend support to meet critical proposal schedules and deadlines.

It continuously improves competitive posture of company through active source development/management. It ensures accuracy of records and works with accounting to assure payment of suppliers. It provides technical commodity insight to support internal and external issues as they arise.

    Main Responsibilities:
    * Procures material to support manufacturing production needs for assigned commodities with best market price and 100% on-time delivery to need date.
    * Relays all customer quality requirements to the suppliers
    * Reviews material needs based on work order shortages and communicates any issues that may impact schedules with the project team members.
    * Expedites orders as required to meet the customer & manufacturing team needs.
    * Implements purchase order changes as defined by internal company committee
    * Supports the bid and proposal process by soliciting the supply chain to secure costs re: lead-times on assigned commodities in order to meet bid due dates
    * Analyzes bid data for assigned commodities, and makes bid supplier/cost selections
    * Works with suppliers to offer lower cost solutions where the opportunity exists
    * Solicits supplier feedback on technical issues with support of company engineers
    * Performs PO close operations and bid documentation to support customer audits
    * Analyzes market conditions and trends on assigned commodities.
    * Analyzes complex data across suppliers, materials, and bids
    * Negotiates supply agreements leveraging volumes across multiple entities.
    * Drives suppliers to mitigate minimum buys and reduce lead-times
    * Develops and enlists new suppliers as needed to ensure best market cost and quality
    * Establishes on-going dialogue with suppliers on all vendor performance reviews

    Qualifications:
    * BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
    * Minimum of 3 years manufacturing procurement experience , preferably in electronic or mechanical components (technically complex commodity buys and issues)
    * *Government / Military and/or Aerospace procurement experience preferred.
    * Strong numerical and analytic reasoning capability.
    * Well-developed written and oral communications skills.

    Manpower is currently assisting a local company in Red Lion, PA for CNC Machinist. As an operator you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.

    Pay for this position will be $15.00-$17.00 an hour plus overtime as needed. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

    We have openings on the following shifts:
    * 2nd Shift: 4:15pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday
    * Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6am-6pm (work 36 hours, paid 40 hours)

    Job Requirements

    As a CNC Machinist you must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate well with management and fellow employees.
    Ideal candidates have very positive attitude and previous experience.
    Other requirements of the role include:

    * All applicants must have steady work history with a good attendance record
    * Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30lbs and occasionally lift up to 50lbs
    * Must be able to meet physical demands including standing for extend periods, walking, bending, kneeling and reaching
    * Have basic knowledge of using and programming CNC controllers
    * Have experience in setting up machine with jigs and fixtures
    * Have background in machining and solid understanding of metals, angels, measuring, grinding, deburring, proper inspection and quality control
    * High School or GED required
