Must be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers. Must demonstrate an advanced skill level (indicate part, turn OD's, and qualify ID and OD) on at least four machines; CNC mill, CNC lathe, and NC (figure feed rates), manual mill, brouch, drill press, rework lathe/press lathe. Primary Skills: Review print & work order. Attach fixture to machine and secure part. Position tools per setup instructions. Input program or program machine if necessary.     Our high-profile manufacturing client in Barrie is looking to add a Customer Service Representative to their team. In this fast-paced, high pressure role, you'll be the main point of contact between the manufacturing/packaging plant and its customers. You will be responsible for managing multiple details while ensuring the consistent flow of communication between the client and their customers.

    To initiate, receive and follow up on all communications between the manufacturing plant and their customers. To maintain documentation on all open orders with up to date status on packaging, raw materials and current scheduling information.

    * Responsible to maintain an up to date status on all open orders with disposition on packaging, raw materials and tentative schedule dates for all clear orders.
    * Maintains an up to date order backlog by maintaining sales orders with current due dates and comments. Maintain quantities and quantity adjustments, packaging and material including batch card status for each order.
    * Responsible to prepare an order review, documented weekly, unless otherwise requested for each customer with an open order listing. Reviews are to include customer component shortage reports and a complete listing of all open orders with their appropriate statuses and distribute to appropriate customer contacts.
    * Advise customer and department of any delays in the status of the open order with regards to raw material, packaging, formula or other changes such as delivery changes or equipment problems.
    * Follow up internally the status of manufacturing and assembly work orders as well as formula card releases. In conjunction with the customer determine on a daily basis if an order is to be considered complete.
    * Expedite customer-supplied components on a regular basis as required to meet production schedule requirements, including bulks, raws and packaging.
    * Attend and participate in daily and weekly scheduling meetings, providing customer input to assist with establishing production priorities.
    * Review new structures against supplied documentation to ensure data entry accuracy.
    * Prioritize Order Scheduling for Production utilizing system maintained and generated tools
    * Contact the customer regarding quality issues when requested and instructed by Technical Manager.

    Education: Post secondary education in business studies
    Experience: 3-5 years related experience
    Project Management experience working with several projects at one time.
    Proven Experience working in high pressure Customer Service role.
