    REPORTS TO: Executive Director

    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The Manager of Youth Strategy has primary responsibility for the effective coordination and oversight of
    all youth-focused programs and services delivered through the Tulsa Area Workforce Development
    Board. The programs serve young adults ages 14 - 24. The Manager of Youth Strategy serves as primary
    staff liaison to the Youth Committee and provides leadership, staff support, and continuity to the Youth
    Committee. This person develops programming in collaboration with contractors, writes policy that
    guides the services delivered to youth by contractors, monitors those contracted youth services, and
    generates reports based on compliance with policy.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Understand the needs of Youth in our market and create programs and services to meet those
    needs.
    o Create programming, in collaboration with the contracted service provider, based on best practices and evidence-based research.
    o Create and maintain relationships with community and industry contacts to establish and develop collaborative partnerships and new initiatives to serve area young people.
    o Utilize relationships with community and industry contacts to best understand the needs of youth in our area.
    o Identify funding opportunities for youth services, to develop responses to grant funding opportunities, and to ensure that availability of sufficient youth-oriented resources for the organization.
    o Works closely with Executive Director to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations of youth programs and services.
    o Provides staff support to the Youth Committee.
    o Write grants on behalf of Workforce Tulsa and partners.
     Monitor contracted youth services for compliance with board policy, WIOA, state and federal laws, and any other applicable guidance.
    o Responsible for all creating and maintain policies and procedures related to the Youth program.
    o Oversee the contracted Service Provider's activities with regards to the Youth Program.
    o Conduct regular monitoring of services provided by contractor.
    o Other duties, as assigned by Executive Director.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
