Job Description

MARKETING ASSISTANT
Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Assistant will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the marketing and sales departments by updating marketing and sales data in a timely manner, by organizing and updating marketing schedules, reports, and calendars, and by providing administrative and project support to other sales and marketing efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Update and maintain marketing databases, spreadsheets, and house files
* Update marketing calendars with due dates for marketing activities and invoices
* Review sales orders for accuracy
* Upload and update catalog key codes on a timely basis.
* Assist with list preparation and clean-up for catalog mailings. Track and fulfill catalog requests. Coordinate specialist catalog mailings.
* Maintain the subscriber accuracy of the marketing automation software used for email marketing.
* Monitor general sales and marketing email and voicemail boxes.
* Assist with importing web orders into the company's order management system.
* Perform testing for changes to the Company's e-commerce website and order management system.
* Generate weekly/monthly sales and marketing reports
* Provide administrative support for trade shows and other marketing related events
* Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications
* HSD or equivalent. Some college helpful.
* 2+ years general administrative experience, including data entry.
* Very detail oriented and organized. Able to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy.
* Strong computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with MicroSoft Access and marketing automation software a plus.
* Good oral and written
Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
